Luxurious rope of ametrine and quartz pebbles accented with larger freshwater pearls in a flattened drop shape (almost an amorphous free-form shape ) with beautiful luster and speckled with small grey freshwater pearls; hand-knotted by me on lavender silk using traditional tweezer and awl technique; measures with clasp approximately 69 inches; gold filled findings for durability and Italian made gold plated sterling silver carabiner clasp.
While I love the luxurious rope length of gemstone pebbles that gives the wearer flexibility to wear long and doubled, long and knotted in flapper style, or luxuriously draped around the neck, the larger pearls steal the show! These flattened drop pearls just glow on the skin. And I almost feel like I have been hoarding my stash of these pearls that I sourced years (ok, maybe more like a decade) ago from one of my pearl suppliers in Dallas. Unfortunately, I have not been able to source larger puffy drop freshwater pearls with the same nuanced color and gorgeous luster for my designs. And, YES, I am constantly searching!!!
